As a professional trainer/speaker, a motto I try to live by is to Keep the fun in learning. To energize people and get everyone involved in learning is the key to making a difference in a training session.

I have found people do not want someone talking at them; they want to be engaged and participate in their learning. My experience as a trainer has clearly developed this skill in my work. I believe this style of learning increases retention and applied learning following the training.
As a speaker, I love the challenge of engaging a room full of people and holding their attention. I enjoy being in the physical presence of the audience with face to face contact. Connecting with the energy in the room is as important as the content of the information being presented.
